Terms of Service
› Use of Service
You agree to use the service lawfully, to refrain from infringing rights of others, and to respect intellectual property associated with our courses, scripts, session files, and platform content. You must comply with all applicable Canadian and provincial laws while using the service.
- Do not share account credentials or allow non-authorized access.
- Do not reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate access without written permission.
- Content is licensed for your personal, non-transferable educational use unless otherwise stated.
› Eligibility and Account
You must be at least the age of majority in your province or have parental consent. You are responsible for the accuracy of your information and for all activities under your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for suspected fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.
› Course Access and Intellectual Property
All courses, lesson recordings, PDFs, demo scripts, and associated assets are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Unless expressly permitted in writing, you may not distribute, resell, or publicly post our materials.
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access course content for your personal use for the duration stated at purchase.
› Acceptable Use
- No harassment, hate speech, or unlawful content in community spaces.
- No uploading of malicious code or attempts to disrupt the platform.
- No sharing of paid content or access links outside your household.
› Payments and Refunds
All prices are listed in CAD unless indicated otherwise. Taxes are calculated based on your billing address. You authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the full amount at checkout, including applicable taxes and fees.
Refund policy:
- Full refund if requested before the published cohort start date/time.
- Within 7 calendar days of cohort start and with less than 10% course completion, a 70% refund (30% covers admin and scheduling costs).
- No refunds after 7 days from cohort start or after 10% completion, whichever occurs first.
- 1:1 coaching sessions: refundable if cancelled 24 hours prior to the session; otherwise non-refundable.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing times depend on your bank or card issuer.
› Subscriptions, Installments, and Taxes
If you enroll using installments or a subscription, you authorize recurring charges until the balance is paid or the subscription is cancelled according to plan terms. Missed payments may result in suspension of access.
You are responsible for all applicable sales taxes, GST/HST, and provincial taxes (as applicable).
› Cancellations and Chargebacks
Contact support first to request cancellation or a refund according to the policy above. Unwarranted chargebacks may be contested and may lead to account suspension.
› Third‑Party Services
We may integrate third‑party tools (e.g., conferencing, payment processors). These are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third‑party failures or data handling outside our control.
› Recording Release and Portfolio Use
Unless you opt out in writing before a session, you grant us permission to record classes for educational use by enrolled students. With your consent, we may excerpt your performances for internal showcases or marketing credits. You retain rights to your own voice performances.
› Warranty Disclaimer
Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. We do not guarantee audition results, bookings, or income.
› Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Selvrento Voice Academy, its directors, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.
In any case, our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
› Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Selvrento Voice Academy from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the service.
› Privacy and Data
We collect and process personal data as described in our privacy practices. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
› Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Venue lies exclusively in the courts located in Vancouver, BC.
Before filing a claim, the parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good‑faith negotiation for at least 30 days after written notice.
› Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
